What is GoPets?

GoPets is an online world that revolves around 3D virtual pets. You can adopt a cat, dog, or panda (exclusive to Windows Live Messenger users) and design it's very own 3D virtual land on which it lives. A GoPet can be dressed up in fancy clothing, eat exotic foods, and interact with the different items that you buy it.

Traveling and Making Friends

But, GoPets don't just stay on their own land. They can travel all around the world and visit the places which other people have created. Today, you can be stranded on a tropical island. Tomorrow, eating lunch at a cafe, lost in a magical forest, or even flying high above in outer space. You can take your pets to any one of these lands while you are online by simply typing in their coordinates, or let your pets wander to them on their own while you are away. (:

Customization

The GoPets game is completely customizable and you can personalize almost every aspect of it. You can dress up you GoPets in outfits you choose, decorate your GoLands the way you want, and organize your inventory in a way that suites your work flow. GoPets is so customizable, in fact, that you can even change how certain decorations and clothes look in your favorite graphics editor. These customized items are know as "Customs" and can be sold to other members of the GoPets community.

Interaction

Your GoPets can interact with many item in GoWorld. They can take a bath, dive into a cool pool on a hot summers day, and play fun arcade games. They also love to eat! You can find all kinds of interesting foods from all over the world in the GoPets game.

Crafting

GoPets don't just spend all their time playing and traveling. They have to work too! A pet can choose one of four professions - cooking, fishing, farming, or tailoring. In cooking, a pet can make a variety of amazingly tasty foods. In fishing, a pet travels to different places across GoLand to find where the fish are biting. In farming, a pet can harvest apples, oranges, cherries - you name it! In tailoring a pet creates colorful clothes that can be worn by other GoPets.
